SAA cordially invites applicants for the above scholarship sponsored by Dr. Ernest Kan. The Scholarship is available to ICPAS/ACCA Joint Examination Scheme students currently studying at Singapore Accountancy Academy. The objective of the Scholarship is to assist and spur the ICPAS/ACCA Joint Examination Scheme students, with demonstrated financial need, to achieve academic excellence.
One Scholarship is awarded twice a year and is tenable for one intake only.
Eligibility
Criteria
•
At least 21 years old and above
•
Existing ICPAS/ACCA Joint Examination Scheme students
•
Outstanding academic performance
•
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills will be a plus
•
Applicant’s combined household income must be less than S$3,000 per month
Scholarship Package
•
Entitles student to enroll for a maximum of 4 classes at SAA for one intake
•
Covers all course fees, revision classes, textbooks, revision kits and course material (valued up to S$3,040)
•
Does not include any student membership payment to ICPAS and ACCA (UK) (e.g. initial student membership registration fees, annual student membership subscription fees, exemption fees, examination fees, etc)

Is non-transferable

Does not allow for deferment of classes

Successful applicants are required to attend at least 95% of the course lectures. In event of illness or other unforeseen circumstances resulting in attendance of less than 95%, a medical certificate or an unauthorized letter specifying the reason will be required confirming the absence from class
•
No bond is required under the terms of this Scholarship
•
Scholars must act as the SAA
Ambassador during the scholar's term

A separate letter with the detailed terms and conditions (including the above terms and conditions) and others relating to the course of study itself will be given to the successful applicant. Please ensure that you have this letter and understand the binding terms and conditions

SAA and Dr. Ernest Kan reserve the right to withdraw or suspend the scholarship at any time if, in its opinion, the recipient's conduct or performance has not been satisfactory
