SAA welcomes applications from all well qualified and motivated candidates.
All foreign candidates wishing to pursue their studies at Singapore Accountancy Academy (SAA) must apply for a Student's Pass with the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA). SAA was awarded the SQC-PEOs therefore all international students can enjoy the benefits such as:
- "Green Lane" of Student's Pass application
- No security deposit required for ICA
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply to study at SAA.

- SAA Enrolment Form
- ACCA/CAT(S) Technician Registration Form, or
- ACCA/ ICPAS Initial Registration From (for CAT and ACCA applicants only)
- ICA student pass application forms: Forms 16, V36 and V39S
- One recent passport-sized photograph
- Official birth certificate
- High school certificates and result transcripts
- Highest education certificates and result transcripts
- Documentary proof of financial ability in the form of bank statements/fixed deposit accounts/saving accounts, advisable to be S$40,000 (if applicable)
- Applicant Employment Letter (if applicable)
- Parents' Employment Letter (if applicable)
- Local sponsor's identity card (if sponsor is not SAA)*
- Photocopy of student's passport
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
All documents that are not in English are required to be translated and notarized.
* SAA as a Local Sponsor
If the local sponsor is an individual, the sponsor has to be at least 21 years old, a Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
SAA can also act as the local sponsor for the student. Once the student's pass application is approved, the student need to pay a S$500 sponsorship fee to ICPAS.
Before departing for Singapore, you should make payment for the following:
- Tuition fee
- Registration fee of S$280
- Student Tuition Fee Insurance premium
- Single Entry Visa of S$80 (inclusive of courier charges), applicable only if you are from a visa- required country
Mode of Payment
1. Cheque or Bank Draft
Alternatively, you may issue a cheque or bank draft beneficiary to "ICPAS"
- Post-dated cheques will not be accepted
- Cheques will be processed within 5 working days
- Please write on the reserve of the cheque: Student’s name and contact number
- A penalty fee of S$50.00 per dishonoured cheque will be charged
2. Cash, NETS and Credit/Debit card
Cash, NETS and Credit/Debit card payments are accepted at the SAA reception counter during office hours:
Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm
Saturday 9am to 3pm.
The reception counter will be closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Once you have been accepted to SAA, you will receive the following:
- A Conditional Letter of Offer
- An acceptance form
- Fee, course, refund and withdrawal information
- Accommodation information
If you would like to accept our offer, you should complete, sign and fax the acceptance declaration to the Admissions Office at SAA or to your agent in your country.
As soon as we have received your acceptance form, we will purchase the Student Tuition Fee Insurance and make the necessary application for your student's pass
Please note that the student's pass takes about 3 to 4 weeks to be processed
Upon approval of your student's pass, you will receive a Letter of Offer and 2 copies of a Student Standard Contract
You should complete, sign and return 1 copy of the Student Standard Contract to us or to SAA representatives in your country

Students who wish to withdraw from the course must submit a written notice to SAA. SAA reserves the right to delay the commencement of the course or withdraw the course altogether. In the event of such an occurrence, students will receive a full refund.
