Withdrawal / Refund Policy

Procedure

Students who wish to withdraw from their classes must fill up the Course Request Form, attach proper documentation and submit to the SAA Student Reception Counter.

Policy

Withdrawal of class(es) due to the following reasons:

  • Classes cancelled by SAA
  • Unsuccessful application of new Student’s Pass
Cheque refund on full course fees paid
  • Heavy work commitment, without certification from company
  • Family commitment
  • Holiday trips
  • Enrollment of more than 2 classes, resulting in inability to cope with studies
  • Enrollment of classes with no intention of sitting for exams
  • ACCA/CAT Graduates
  • Completion of any ACCA option papers
Cheque refund on 50% of course fees paid
  • Due to release of exam results
Credit Note on 50% of course fees paid
  • Hospitalization of more than 2 weeks
  • Pregnancy
  • Medical reasons certified by a Singapore registered doctor
  • Short term overseas assignments which is more than 2 months
  • Emergence reservist which is more than 2 weeks
  • Heavy work commitment certified by company

NOTE:

  1. All other reasons will be approved on a case-by-case basis. For all other reasons, students will be informed of the results within 3 working days of SAA receipt of the Course Request Form, with supporting documents.
  2. Credit Notes are non-transferable and non-replaceable and are valid for 6 months.

A non-transferable, non-replaceable Credit Note, which is valid for 6 months, will be issued according to the following guidelines:

Table 1: January / March  / July / September Intake

More than 14 days after the intake Commencement Date. Student is liable to pay any outstanding tuition fees, if any.

Table 2: February / August Pro-rated Intake

Application Fee, Student Development Fee and Student Administration Fees

Application Fee

The application fes paid to ICPAS is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Student Development Fee

The student Development Fee will be refunded in full to student:

  • In the event of cancellation of course by SAA.
  • In the event of Student's Pass application is rejected by ICA
  • In the event of withdrawal application is received before commencement of classes

The Student Development Fee wll not be refunded for all withdrawal after commencement of classes or transfers out of SAA.

Student Administration Fees

The Student Administration Fees paid to ICPAS and ACCA (UK) are non-refundable unless the application is rejected by ACCA (UK).

Student Protection Scheme (SPS) Insurance Premium

  • SAA cancels the course, the premium will be refunded in full to the student.
  • Student’s Pass application is not successful, the premium will be refunded after deducting an administrative fee of S$26.75 by NTUC.
  • Students transfer to another course in the same school, the premium will be refunded after deducting an administrative fee of S$26.75 by NTUC. Students will have to pay the premium for the new course.
  • No refund will be issued for withdrawals and transferring out of SAA.
