Educational Qualification
Mr Tang graduated from University of Birmingham with a degree in Accounting and is trained as a Chartered Accountant in London, specialising in Computer Audits. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS). He was elected to the Council of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) from 2000 to 2006 and has been the chairman of the Institute’s IT Services Committee since 2000.
Professional Experience
Mr Tang began his career with DBS Bank in the Corporate Planning Department and later, the Corporate Finance Department. Subsequently, he spent many years at senior management levels at NatSteel Ltd and Sembawang Holdings Ltd. At NatSteel Ltd, he pioneered an electronic Group Bank Balance Netting system. This was a Singapore first.
Having an insatiable passion for Infocomm Technology, he founded an IT company specializing in web-based solutions, and has rendered valuable assistance to many corporations in developing reporting solutions.
In addition, he has also served on the governing body of XBRL International, a consortium to develop and promote the XBRL standard for electronic financial reporting.
Training Experience
Having decades of experience in business and financial analysis with the financial institutions and public listed companies, Mr. Tang has garnered a wealth of knowledge in financial reporting and analysis using Microsoft Excel. He quarterbacked the ICPAS’s Business Analysis and Reporting (BAR) programme, and is the chief trainer of this programme.
His humorous, personal and practical style of lecturing, coupled with his insights of Excel has helped many companies meet the unrelenting pressure to deliver accurate and timely business information.

Elaine Chong CPA Singapore
Educational Qualification
Elaine Chong is Certified Public Accountant of Singapore, holds a Masters of Business Administration and also a Certified Microsoft Office Specialist Expert.
Professional Experience
Elaine has over 10 years of experience with extensive hands-on working experience in the area of auditing, financial analysis, management reporting and enterprise system implementation. She was in management positions of financial, commercial and education sectors. While she was a Financial Controller with a Multi-National Company, she achieved various global awards in management reporting, in the areas of accuracy, timeliness and useful presentation.
She joined the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) as the Assistant Director of Special Projects. She continued her research work in using easy-to-learn and affordable Information Technology to streamline reporting processes that would optimize the performance of accountants.
Training Experience
Elaine is the co-developer and trainer of the course Business Analytics & Reporting, supported by IDA in line with iN2015 Master plan to transform the use of Infocomm by Accounting Professionals. This course aims to streamline reporting processes that would optimize the performance of accountants.

Susan See Tho CPA Singapore
Educational Qualification
Susan graduated from the Adelaide University with a Masters of Business Administration; and is also a Certified Public Accountant (Singapore) holding Bachelor of Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University.
Professional Experience
Susan started her career as a Corporate Taxation Associate in one of the big four public accounting firms. She subsequently progressed to a petrochemical multinational corporation (MNC) and assumed several financial & business analytical positions. She then brought along her expertise to separately pioneer the start-up of two US MNCs’ regional management reporting & analysis function in the power generation industry as well as the electronics’ manufacturing sector.
Training Experience
Armed with more than 10 years’ of management accounting and business reporting experience, Susan is now with the Institute of Business Analytics Pte Ltd as a trainer and consultant.
