Excellent Academic Results of at least GPA of 70% & above for Year 12/A Levels or Equivalent

Good Evaluation & Interview Results for Diploma in Economics

Pleasant & Positive Character with Leadership Qualities which will be assessed during the interview
Terms and Conditions of the Scholarship
- Does not include the payment to UOL
- Does not include SAA-GE application fee
- Is non-transferable
- Does not allow for deferment of classes
- Must pursue their studies leading to the UOL qualification with SAA-GE and are required to attend at least 95% of the course lectures. In event of illness or other extenuating circumstances resulting in attendance of less than 95%, a medical certificate or an authorized letter justifying the reason will be required
- Must act as the SAA-GE Ambassador
- Present at marketing activities as required
- Write testimonials
- Appear in SAA-GE promotions and advertisements
- Adhere to all SAA-GE regulations and requirements
- Should the recipient withdraw, discontinue from the sponsored programme, he/she will have to repay SAA-GE, the full course fees that has been disbursed at the prevailing rates
- SAA-GE shall review the recipient’s performance at the end of each academic year and continuing students need to pass all 4 subjects with minimum mark of 65% per subject and have a combined aggregate mark of 240 (minimum)
- SAA-GE reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the scholarship at any time if, in its opinion, the recipient's conduct or performance has not been satisfactory
- SAA-GE reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions for awarding the scholarship at their sole discretion
- The scholarship selection committee's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entertained. All successful applicants shall be informed by SAA-GE by end May
A separate letter with the detailed terms and conditions (including the above terms and conditions) and others relating to the course of study itself will be given to the successful applicant. Please ensure that you have this letter and understand the binding terms and conditions
The scholarship will cover course fees (4 Subjects at S$6,741) and course materials. It excludes:
- SAA-GE Application Fee
- Payments to UOL (e.g. UOL Application Fee, Registration Fee & Examination Fees, etc)
- Medical Insurance
- ICA Fee
